So last week Charlie and I were at a conference, spending our days in seminars and our evenings at receptions at John Maxwell’s house. Really great teaching and interaction with conference attenders, but kind of exhausting. At the final reception on Sunday we were all a little punchy, so it wasn’t really a big surprise when a handful of people ended up in the pool, fully clothed. Including John himself.

But everyone was surprised when a gentleman named Dmitri dove in and asked if John would baptize him. Of course, John did.

Dmitri had made a commitment to Christ that very morning at the optional worship service led by John.

Blessing.
