I’m the little dog in the family! Mommy loves me! And I love Mommy! Dad scares me. One time he made me pee on the floor. How? By telling me NO. In a BIG SCARY voice.

The other day Mommy bought a new hammock for me! She got it to sit on while she hugs me and squeezes me!
I wish Mommy would let me sit on her on the couch! But Scary Dad says NO. He says he’ll punt me into the next cent—

I like to ride in the car on Mommy’s lap. The kids try to get me onto THEIR laps. But I say no. I like to honk the horn at squirrels.

Other things I like: Sitting on Mommy. Laying on Mommy. Laying on Mommy’s feet. Following Mommy everywhere. Barking at squirrels. Barking at deer. Barking at stray dogs. Barking at the trash guys. And most of all: Barking at midnight!
I keep waiting for Mommy to invite me onto the couch now that Dad’s far away. But so far she says no. Bob says I just need to deal with it but—

Oh Scruff, you did such a great guest posting for Mommy. I’d let you come sit on my couch too (you’re the same color as it, so I wouldn’t even notice the shedding) but our daddy gets a loud “NO” to our boys Howie and Roscoe and won’t let them on our couch. Sigh. They feel your pain.
We don’t get many squirrels in our yard because we don’t have many trees, but we have cows right behind our fence (no worries, Roscoe “corrals” them daily for us and keeps then in line) and LOTS of possums. Do you like possums? Howie does. He plays fetch with them…but not like you think of fetch. Ask mommy, she’s heard the Howie/possum stories.
