Along the Western Wall

March 6th, 2010 · 7 Comments · Pics, Travel: Taking the crazy around the world

Me:

Home from Israel since Friday morning.
Overcoming jet lag. Watching cartoons with my kids.

Photo:

The Western Wall of the Herodian Temple in Jerusalem
(the only part remaining after its destruction in 78 A.D.)

The old man is an ultra-Orthodox Jew,
preparing to pray beside the Wall.

I haven’t forgotten y’all. I’ve got LOADS to write about.

Next Week.

Is “ultra orthodox Jew” anything like “ultimate fighting fighter”?

Looking forward to reading more about your trip.

Katdish, Actually ultra-Orthodox Jew is NOT redundant. Just one of the many trivia tidbits I took home from this trip.

    (I heart accidental alliteration.)

I guess I’ll have to explain the difference in a future post.
