Things that make me smile

November 23rd, 2009 · 8 Comments · Pics, Travel: Taking the crazy around the world, video

After this drab, dreary, colorless day,

Let’s take a look at things that make me smile.

First, a maple tree from our yard (2 weeks ago):

Just lovely.

Next…

The infamous,

much-anticipated,

never-before-seen,

kudos on the super secret video!

I was in NY yesterday…Jersey Boys…I’m sorry to say I didn’t think to videotape the ladies room…I can say without reservation it was not nearly as exquisite as the Waldorf’s

That tree is amazing!Though the secret video definitely takes the prize. I’m glad I didn’t see whatever it is you ‘flushed’… just sayin.

    p.s.
    You looked great!

I think the flush was a ruse/cover for the real mission huh? To provide us common folks a view of the posh side of life, so thank you so much. I’ll never get there. Really, so that was 1 private privvy, and there were others? Did it smell good in there? Was there music? Was there an attendant?

    You looked great BTW.

My, what a classy place to poop.

Robin is right. You do look great.

Okay, for the RECORD, that was NOT me flushing.

    Geez.

Robin, I like how you put it, a “private privy”. Yes, there were at least 6 on that little hallway I came out on. (THUS the flushing of OTHER toilets) No music, no noticeable aromas.

And I actually ran smack into the attendant as I opened that door. I was afraid she’d call security or confiscate my iphone, so I didn’t stick it in her face to include her on the video.

Sorry. I guess I failed at “secret agent” this time.

I can’t believe I didn’t make your list of things that make you smile. Then again, who can compete with a bathroom like that?

Oh, and sure it wasn’t you doing the flushing… That video does seem to be shot from sitting level…

    Holy crap–that’s a huge bathroom.
You are one committed blogger. Who else would film the inside of a bathroom?

I thought I was the only one! I always take pictures of bathrooms when I travel. I have pics of bathrooms in Honduras, Argentina, and the DR of Congo. Your is FAR more elegant than mine, though. :-)
