And yet ANOTHER way for me to bring the conversation around to bodily functions. I swear, I didn’t even try this time.
So anyway, my fellow former Cali girl Wendy at Weight What? participated in a gr8 meme full of 8s. And since I’m totally l8 in getting a blog post out and, as f8 would have it, haven’t had any other ideas of l8, I’m totally considering myself tagged. Fo sh8. (I… don’t even know what that means.)

I’m just jealous because Bob has his own twitter account. You love Bob more than me! That would make any dog nervous…..

The pre is way awesomer, but you aren’t geeky enough to know that so I forgive you. Also you are getting it on our 10 year anniversary. Yep on June 19th I will be married for 10 years. Did I mention we’ll be staying in Homeland, CA during part of our vacation?
I’ll consider myself tagged if I come down with blogstipation, as opposed to blogingmustcomeaftereverythingelseIhavetodoinlifeation.

I’m offended that Portugal is number 2, to Spain…of all countries.
And stop bragging about your upcoming iphone….here they are about $800 with a new contract with the cell phone company. Not that we’ve looked or anything….

NYC in November? I’ll be happily ensconsed in the very nearby suburbia by then. Will it be a quick trip or longer?

Wait. Eight times eight (8 X
. . . Doesn’t that equal sixty four? Do I have my times tables all goofed up again?
Dawg, but that hurt my head!

Nick,
I’ll let you in on a secret: I’m actually geeky enough to have read a lot of reviews and comparisons between the two. Video and voice capability pushed me toward iPhone. That, and getting the Pre would get me too much geek attention, and then they’d ask me to show them what it could do and I wouldn’t be able to.
Nina,
I’d totally go to Portugal before Spain. If somebody invited me… (But I speak Spanish a lot better than I speak Portuguese.)
Joyce,
3-4 days, but I think they have us running 24/7. But I’ll know better as the date approaches. I’d love to meet IRL.
Carol,
Oo, you figured out the secret! Actually, it’s 56 on purpose. Not because I’m bad at math. (Which I am.) I didn’t tag anyone w my last section. So technically, I only listed 56 things.
Callie,
Bad dog. Go lie down.

The peaches thing IS weird. Just to let you know. And strawberry pie is awesome, but what about strawberry shortcake? Mmmm.

I just can’t believe WA isn’t on your list of places to go. Where’s the love?
9 Steph at the Red Clay Diaries // Jun 13, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Fae,
Thanks for the validation. And I’m all about strawberry shortcake too! Strawberries + Sugar = deliciousness.
Wendy,
I’ll tell you what I told Nina…. I’d love to visit WA if I were ever invited there….

For the record, the fights she’s breaking up are not between the two Charlies. We do our fighting in Aikido class. And nage always wins.

A Triple Salchow?
That just made me laugh out loud! You really need to learn how to ignore you children more effectively. I should start a workshop on that. Of course, I only need 4 or 5 hours of sleep a night, so that’s helpful with the writing. Not writing much of any substance helps, too.

# Riverside, Smog Capital of California.
# Visalia, Linty Belly Button of California.
# San Diego, Heaven on Earth.
# La Mesa, forever known as The Place I Met Charlie.
# El Cajon, Just east of Heaven, but hellishly hot.
And to think, I’ve lived in or near all of those communities, and agree with all of the comments, except about meeting Charlie – I’ve never met him – but La Mesa is where some dear friends used to live (remember Godwins? Her parents)…anyway…I’m rambling…
