Bet MY Monday is worse than YOURS.
Oink.

Yup. We’re going to visit a doctor or two today. To find out once and for all if the illness all FOUR of us are experiencing is … you know …
The Illness That Must Not Be Named.
This promises to be at least as fun as the weekend we spent at home. Indoors. For two whole days and nights.
My 6 year old who loves nothing more than playing dress-up missed a dress-up birthday party.
My 9 year old who loves to sing missed a required meeting for kids’ choir.
Oh yeah… And I missed my own important meeting and an evening out ALONE with NO KIDS because I had arranged for a SITTER.
All lost.
All because of
The Illness That Must Not Be Named.
I’m actually writing this on Sunday night, so if you’ll excuse me. I need to go find someplace to wallow.
Snort.
*New here and wondering what this has to do with a pig head in a freezer?
This post should clear everything up. Or cause you to wonder why you’re still reading.

God bless you all, no matter what kind of flu it is. You know your friends are praying for you and your family Steph. No, I am not being my normally cute and kidding self. I’m serious. We are praying for your well being, whether this is the flu that shall not be named, or your ordinary garden variety pestilence.

Well, since I saw on twitter (my new bestest, bestest buddy) that you’re all feeling better, I feel I can say:
What if all this swine flu was actually traced back to the pig head in your freezer? How suck would that be?

Hey you! So are you in the clear? Fever free this a.m.? Does this mean (gasp) you can scurry them off to school and enjoy your first moment of peace in days? I HOPE SO!!!

Three kids at school. No fevers this morning. Prayers answered. (Thank you Helen and everyone else!)
Can you hear my sigh of contentment from here?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh….

Hmmm…I seem to remember something about rooting around for mushrooms, too… Are you SURE?
Glad to hear you are better! : )

So, can you confirm or deny that your pig head is the root of all the swine flu in the world?

I hope each of you wear these masks in the waiting room at the Doctor’s office. That would make EVERYONE feel better.

I didnt even think about the link between the pig head in your freezer and the swine flu. Blame it on the pig head!

I’m sure it’s not THAT. Is it? I mean, it’s not, right?
‘Cause even if it is, I’m not getting the vaccine.
Umm…why do you have a pig head in your freezer, Steph? It’s not another one of those rooster/dog collar things, is it? Somehow creating a aversion for…uh…ice cream thieves?
Someone put me out of my misery before I try to make some sense out of all this. And pass the pork rinds.

I’m sure you all just have a common cold. Besides, the media tends to blow things WAY out of proportion!!
Now, about that pig head… you really need to ditch that thing when your hubby isn’t looking. Ick!
