Um. I don’t even know how to explain that title. An unhealthy obsession with Star Trek?
“Make it so!”
(Patrick Stewart IS cool. Especially when he’s a Borg.)
Anyway. I think it’s safe to say that my thoughts are a little random today. Want a glimpse inside my brain?

I like rain. Except when I get wet. Or when it’s cold. Or when I’ve just straightened my hair. Or when it gives me a headache (something to do with the pressure change). Or when it causes my husband to spin out on the freeway and total his truck (true story – and he walked away from it). Or when the dogs go out to play in our Georgia red clay then want to come in so they stare at me through the window because they know I’m a sucker and will spend 15 minutes cleaning their paws. Bob especially loves this.

We built our first fire of the season last night. And I remembered why I like winter evenings in front of the fireplace so much. Everyone gets so calm and cozy and snuggly, and suddenly I want to have a game night and serve the kids hot chocolate.

I heart International Delight Pumpkin Spice creamer. I haven’t bought creamer for a long time – ever since I started subbing Splenda for sugar in my coffee. So even though I’m back to drinking empty calories, I think it’s such a comforting flavor for fall.

My house really really really needs a full cleaning. Did I emphasize that enough? So why do I care enough to type this, but not enough to actually go do it?

Oh! I’m moving my blog sometime this month! My friend Nicole at Apron Strings Aflutter is designing it, and I’m really looking forward to seeing her ideas. She creates some beautiful designs, and her prices are reasonable. My domain will match the blog name, too. I’ll let you know when it’s time to move subscriptions, etc.
I’m very excited.
Can you tell?

This week from comments I learned that I am not alone on the Tweenland ride. I also learned that it will get worse. You people are so encouraging.

Today Charlie is sick. How do I know this? Well, last night he fell asleep on the couch at 8:30. And this morning he’s walking through the house making that “HHHHHHHHHOCKHHHH” sound over and over.
Oh yeah. Here at the Red Clay house, we know all about creating atmosphere.

Two mornings ago, I awoke from a dream that I had turned into Barack Obama, and I was stressed out because I didn’t have a thing to wear to my inauguration. Yeah. The gender change made perfect sense at the time…

I’m listening as Charlie watches a video on his laptop that I saw the other day. Just hearing it makes me giggle, so I think I’ll show it to you. Enjoy.
I said ENJOY.
RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

This post made me laugh! I just bought a bottle of Pumpkin Spice Creamer last night. This morning when I pulled it out of the fridge, I thought about buying 10 more and putting them in the freezer. I’m not sure this would work well, but it’s worth a try.
I also get those weather changing headaches…it rots.

I like the way you think.
Much like me.
All over the place.
Makes for an interesting post.
I’m gonna have to try that creamer. Today.
It’s raining here too. And in EVERY TOWN across the nation that my blogger friends live in.
What’s up with that?

The dream and the video made me laugh! out! loud!
I have been itching for a layout renovation for my blog. I will have to check out your reasonably priced friend and see what she has to offer.

I love reading how people’s brains work. They’re so interesting when they’re random. And I love the cartoon. That rocked!

I hear you…rain and freshly straightened hair DO NOT MIX.
Oh sorry…back to work on that design!
