Today is Funny Friday. It could probably use a fayncy button, but that’d mean I’d have to know how to make a button.

Which I do not.

So maybe I’ll bold it and color it in:

I think most of the time I’ll post a video or photo from somewhere on the World Wide Web. Since there’s a lot of funny stuff out there that Needs to Be Shared.

But this week, in honor of my birthday and because this cracks ME up every time I hear it, I present to you…

…the message I received on my answering machine on Monday:

Some of my thoughts:

The voices you hear are Charlie (the hubby), and our wonderful friends Simon and Ally.

The message comes all the way from Gloucester, UK, where they were having a birthday dinner in my honor.

The harmonizing makes me happy. Most “Happy Birthday”s by Americans sound like a funeral dirge.

Something else that makes me happy: the phrase that Simon yells at the end.

P.S. For all who left such encouraging comments yesterday, THANK YOU. I think the verdict is in on how I was feeling: I miss my husband.
